Important Note: MAME4droid is strictly an emulator and does not come packaged with any ROMs or copyrighted materials.

This version has been optimized for high-end Android devices, derived from the latest iteration of PC MAME, necessitating more advanced hardware specifications compared to its predecessors. Even with powerful devices, users should not anticipate full-speed performance or compatibility with "modern" arcade games from the 1990s and later.

While the extensive library of over 40,000 supported games offers diverse options, performance may vary significantly between titles; some games might run seamlessly, while others could encounter challenges or fail to launch altogether. The vast scope of supported titles makes it impractical for individual support requests regarding specific games.

Upon installation, users should place their zipped MAME-titled ROMs in the following directory: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.seleuco.mame4d2024/files/roms (for additional ROM reading options, please refer to the help section).

Critical Note: This particular version of MAME4droid utilizes only the '0.269' ROM set, distinct from those available in older versions.
